The film depicted a morbidly obese, Australian business man named Joe Cross. The film followed Joe on a 60 day fast in which he drank only fresh, organic fruit and vegetable juice. The premise of this film was that Joe had long suffered from a condition called systemic urticaria, was 100 pounds overweight, and had become convinced that his poor diet was the sole cause.
